By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Payments
• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date.
• Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• All deposits are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to a rescheduled date (subject to availability).
• Full payment must be made before the event date.
• Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• If you wish to reschedule your event, a minimum of 14 days’ notice is required.
• Your deposit will be transferred to the new date, subject to availability.
• Cancellations without rescheduling will result in loss of the deposit.
• If cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the event, additional charges may apply depending on preparation and materials already purchased.
3. Weather Policy (Outdoor Setups)
For outdoor events, safety is our priority.
If an official weather warning (Yellow, Orange, or Red) is issued by Met Éireann for the event location and date, Divine Events Cork reserves the right to cancel the outdoor setup if conditions are unsafe.
This includes strong winds, heavy rain, storms, flooding risk, or any severe conditions affecting safe installation.
• Events cancelled due to official weather warnings may be rescheduled free of charge, subject to availability.
• Deposits and payments will be transferred to the new agreed date.
• We are not responsible for weather-related damage if clients choose to proceed against our safety advice.
4. Hire Items & Returns
• All hired items remain the property of Divine Events Cork.
• Items must be returned in their original condition.
• Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or misuse of hired items.
• Additional charges may apply for damaged, missing, or late-returned items.
5. Custom Orders
• All custom wooden signs, vinyl prints, and personalised items are made to order.
• Custom items are non-refundable.
• Clients must carefully review and approve all designs before production.
• Once production has begun, changes cannot be made.
6. Setup, Delivery & Collection
• Delivery, setup, and collection will be arranged as agreed during booking.
• Access to the venue must be provided at the agreed time.
• Any delays caused by venue restrictions or client-side issues may result in additional charges.
• Last-minute changes or additions may incur extra fees.
7. Liability
• Divine Events Cork is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the misuse of décor items.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring décor is used safely and appropriately during the event.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties.
8. Photography & Marketing
• We may photograph or record our setups for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes.
• If you do not wish your event to be featured, please notify us in writing before the event date.
